The name Project 23.6° N was inspired by the geographic coordinates of Taiwan
— 23° 58′ 32.3400′′N, 120° 58′ 25.9750′′E.

Music essentially acts as a time capsule that stores the transitions of humanity and history. As musicians, we are cultural advocates and storytellers and thus we feel the need to utilize thematic and systematic concerts as means to promote different art forms that have emerged on the island. We aim to introduce the culture and sound of Taiwan to a wider public.
